Travel Gear

Travel Gear

Normally, I need three basic things when I travel: a Valid Passport (sometimes with a visa), a Credit Card (or just Cash) and Insurance.

Travel Gear

This is a collection of our favorite travel gear items from electronic gadgets to bags with links for where to purchase them.

It doesn’t matter if it is a notebook, Smartphone or just a bag, I always try to find the best quality and value.  Sometimes, quality is not cheap.

These are my choices, carefully selected for my needs. Maybe you have different needs but can find inspiration here.

I want to make great quality photos but don‘t want to mess with a heavy DSLR camera. Some of these recommended point-and-shoot cameras are great choices.

The Panasonic Lumix cameras are a perfect choice, especially if you are looking for optical image stabilization. This one is also a well-balanced camera.

Smartphone – For me it is a planner, camera, navigation system, mp3 player, watch, communication system (skype, viber, email, web), cost planner (via apps), and booking tool (via apps for booking hotels and flights). I prefer Androids phones.
